    Delicious food, great service, and the cutest cookies! And it’s an affordable lunch too, if you take advantage of their 1/2 sandwich and a cup of soup option (which is plenty of food). The mango gazpacho is incredible. Highly recommend paying a visit to Girard Gourmet!

    I was on vacation in La Jolla today and me and my family had lunch at this bakery. Amazing food and customer service. They have a variety of baked treats and their soup and sandwiches are homemade. I love this place.

    The selection is good and they have a lot of “comfort food.” Think Diner meets a deli with a lot of cookies and baked goods. Seems quite popular as well. The staff are also very friendly.

    Good food, good service, good atmosphere! The price is really fair which, for a tourist on a budget, I am so happy about! Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in La Jolla.

    I’ve been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Everything is great. They are well known for their sugar cookies. You need to try one
